Use
Kill grain and food insects in silos, elevators,
mills, warehouses, truck-trailers, rail cars, ships, and processing facilities.
Protect-It® can also be used with fumigants such as phosphine and methyl bromide.
Dusting
Use a dust blower to apply Protect-It® into the cracks, crevices and void spaces of the
structure being treated. Dust the area at a rate of 1kg per 200 square metres( 5g/m²).
Spraying
Mix 3Kg Protect-It® into 20 litres of water. Spray the area at a rate of 10 litres per
200 square metres (50ml/m²).
How it Works
Protect-It® absorbs the outer waxy layer on the insect's cuticle. As this protective
layer is absorbed, the insects dehydrate |

and die. Protect-It® starts working immediately after application and lasts until the
grain is processed or unless gain moisture exceeds 14.5%.
Always read the product label before use. Wear a dust mask and suitable
eye-protection when using Protect-It, or whenever airborne dust is present.
